Signature design
Photo email signature: headshot size and layout
- Size
40–96px. 40px sits on the name line, 64px is the usual size beside the name, 96px is a portrait. Drawn to scale in email signature dimensions. - Shape
Round for a headshot. Square when the photo sits in a card or on a color panel. - Crop
Square source, plain background. Export about 200px so a 96px slot stays sharp. - File
JPG or PNG, over HTTPS. If the picture is too heavy, Gmail will ask you to resize it. - Place
Left of the name, or above it when the photo is large.
